Government is fully committed to the welfare of the farming community instrumental in contributing about 30-35% of food grains procured for the Central Pool. It is lead to development organization in the nation to feeds millions of hungry people. Free health treatment-cum- insurance scheme under the name of “Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojana” has been introduced for providing health insurance cover of Rs. 50000/- per annum per family plus Rs. 5 lacs cover for accidental death and complete disability for Head of the family of 28.90 lakh blue card holders families, 11 lac “J Form” holder farming families, 2.33 lakh small traders and 2.32 lakh construction workers. This scheme would give a big relief to the people of unprivileged sections by providing them the quality health care services that too free of cost.

Beneficiaries would be issued the smart cards which would enable them to avail the benefit of cashless health care facilities up to Rs 50,000 per annum in 214 government and 216 empanelled private hospitals in the state. This is the help designed for the public awareness. It can potentially save lives. It can contribute to your happiness. It is conducted to check their well being. They have the potential to completely transform rural life.

Granted money for the development works of villages – Bikram Singh Majithia

Mr. Majithia was addressing a gathering after distributing grant Rs. 1.25 crore for the development works to be initiated in village Chogwan. Mr. Majithia gave village Tahli Sahib Rs. 56 lac, Chativind Lehar Rs. 55 lac, Khidovali Rs.45 lac, Mukadapura Rs 10 lac and Tarfal Rs 12 lac for the initiating dozens of development projects. Punjab deserves a special economic package as demanded by Mr. Majithia. Government is contributing a lot to accelerate developmental works in villages.Government assures that funds would never be an issue when it comes to development of Punjab. Inclusive developments in Punjab and people friendly policies have strengthened the faith of people in State Government. Its main objective is to improve the quality of life of rural people It would give a further fillip to Punjab’s development.

Coming to the point, Kejriwal should apologize to the Sikh community for forcefully demolishing the piau which served as a drinking water area for thousands of people coming to the Gurudwara. AAP government was rebuked widely in social media for playing politics over religion and hurting Sikh sentiment.  Kejriwal has become a threat to the unity and communal harmony. It is quite possible that AAP had no idea of how governance was done. It is easy to criticize others but accomplishing something against all odds is the actual test. Water can be harnessed on a large or a small scale. Mini hydro is the development of hydro electric power on a scale serving a small community or industrial plant. Hydro-electricity systems convert the energy of moving water into electricity. Micro hydro electric projects have the potential to minimize use of environmentally harmful energy sources. It will reduce average installed power and which require smaller facilities. Hydro power energy is widely used throughout the world. This is bringing electricity and prospects for a better future to remote communities.

It results in providing green energy solutions to the people who help the environment, and eliminate the CO2 foot print. Punjab government has made strong case to allow setting mini hydros on bhakhra line which will harness green power for the country. The interstate should not come in the way of having power from renewable sources especially when country is facing the scarcity of green power. Punjab government for the people – Bikram Singh Majithia

Punjab government gives first priority to pro-people decisions. It always stands for the equality of people. The government has recently completely done away with the registration fee for the transfer of assets between blood relations with the help of this thousands of people of Punjab have got relief to the tune of Rs 175 crore in the first three months of this exemption, government also have laid the foundation stone of development works at several villages to fulfill the people needs.

Punjab government started a help line (dial 168 or 1800-1800-168) for bringing transparency and efficiency and to provide information about land records just in a phone call. He said that this has already started yielding positive results. All the people issues related to land will be dealt in a time-bound manner. Punjab government has also launched e-Stamping system to end exploitation of the people for which the complete land record is now online and is also available on the department’s website.

The copy of the land record is provided to the owner in less than 15 minutes. Government promises people to work towards a Progressive Punjab. It calls upon YAD and SOI to work for respective zones for utilizing the energy of youth in a positive way. People feel proud for the government work positively in a way to work for Punjabis!! Developing Farming And Education For Poor Sector – Bikram Singh Majithia

Agriculture is the largest industry in Punjab. The region is ideal for growing wheat crop.most of the people of Punjab are occupied in agriculture sector. So, Moving out the farming community from crisis, the Punjab Government would provide interest free crop loan of Rs. 50 thousand on each crop to give an easy hand to farmers for crop production. The loan would be available for twice in a year as per the crop pattern in the state.It includes the easy return of loan in installments after the procurement of crops as per the season.

The Punjab Government has also decided to provide interest free loan to students upto Rs. 5 lakh which would be repaid by them in installments after completing their education. This scheme for farmers and students would be implemented in a month.it is beneficial for the students who stop their higher studies due to lack of money and higher fee structure. It would facilitate the students especially from rural areas besides facilitating the parents for higher studies of their ward sand help the students belonging to economically weaker sections of society.

The people should come forward to avail the benefits from Punjab Governments through pro people schemes. The government is focusing on making farmers debt-free. Government of Punjab offered interest-free education loans for those from economically weaker sections, skill development and vocational training schemes, free stationery for girl students in schools and health care kits for girls in classes 6th to 12th.  The government had come up with multiple schemes, including insurance cover, interest-free crop loan and a provident fund-cum-pension policy, for farmers. In this way Punjab Government is helping the poor section of society and providing a better life for them.

Bikram Singh Majithia : People Of Punjab Will Not Tolerate Dual Politics Of Kejriwal

Punjab Revenue Minister Mr Bikram Singh Majithia attacking the Delhi Chief Minister and convener of Aam Aadmi Party Mr Arvind Kejriwal said that the intelligent Punjabis will not allow Mr Kejriwal to play his dual politics and if Kejriwal tries to dupe Punjabis, his party and him will have to bear its serious repurcussions.

Mr Majithia, who had come to constituency Majitha to distribute grant of Rs 40 lacs, while talking to the media persons said that Kejriwal is answerable to Sikhs for hugging the Congress leader accused in 84 riots Jagdish Tytler and the reason behind file of Special Investigation Team (SIT) against Tytler getting list. Today when Kejriwal proximity to Tytler has become public, the former is enacting drama of writing to Prime Ministe Mr Narenra Modi for taking action against Tytler. Mr Majithia raised question that why didnt Kejriwal remember writing letter one-and-a-half year ago?

Answering a media query on Punjab Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh remark asking Chief Minister Punjab Mr Parkash Singh Badal to quit politics after 2017, Mr Majithia said that Captain statement should not be taken seriously. He added that Captain had made similar statements in the year 2007 and 2012, but the wise Punjabis outrightly refused Captain and made him cool heels at home. He added that during Captain regime people had to pay hefty power bills while they reeled under long power cuts. There were no schemes for common man like atta-dal, shagan or pension schemes. He said that Captain has never bothered to pay attention to people oriented schemes. He added that people of Punjab are wise as they know who has heralded in prosperity and development in state and its obvious that people will bring in government of Mr Parkash Singh Badal in 2017. He said that the opposition will never succeed in breaching the peace and harmony of state. He said that the opposition was unnecessarily fanning issues and trying to grind their own axe, but the people of Punjab are well aware of such nefarious designs and will again show them the door during elections.

Addressing a mammoth gathering Mr Majithia said that opposition was making false claims of the state coffers lying empty whereas there was no dearth of funds for development. Throwing a light on different developmental schemes he said that when the treasures run dry, how can the developmental works be done. He added that the unprecedented developmental works of SAD-BJP has dwarfed all other political parties and now these other political parties are trying to come to power by hook or crook.

Talking about the union budget, Mr Majithia said that the budget may bring opporunities for farmers, laborers and broder areas to put up industry.

It has been estimated that the poor have raised above the poverty line.

Benefits of economic growth have trickle down to the poor in the form of more employment opportunities, greater productivity and higher wages. Punjab Government has raised the capital to generate more employment opportunities and increase productivity of labour. Agriculture growth has reduced the poverty line as well. The development of infrastructure has also speed up. Special employment schemes for the poor have been provided. Generate wage employment for the rural poor by the government. It has made useful contribution to poverty reduction in the rural areas.

MAJITHIA URGES YOUTH TO WORK FOR NATION BUILDING, HEALTHY SOCIETY

Addressing a function at a local school, the minister felt that the youngsters should be given a chance to excel and the beginning for this must be made from schools. He said youth should differentiate between good and bad with a view to building nation and a healthy society.

Pointing out that India had a large young population, he said a number of youth icons of India had made a mark for themselves at the global level. “Be it education or sports, the Indian youth is already a name to reckon with. It is a must that besides education, youngsters should acquire skills in different trades,” he added.

Underlining the need of youth empowerment, he said success in real terms for youth could only be considered when they become capable of differentiating between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ in life. He also urged the youth to ensure their contribution in the development of mankind, society and the country.

Victory of SAD in the Khadoor Sahib

Victory of SAD in the Khadoor Sahib by poll would be a victory for development and would lay the foundation for an SAD-BJP win in the 2017 assembly elections.

Addressing gatherings at village Deenewal, Pakhoke, Bagrian, Pandori Golla, Sanghe, Naurangabad,Vein Puri, Tur and Pheloke, the SAD president urged the people to vote in party candidate Ravinder Singh Brahmpura with a record margin of one lakh votes to give a befitting answer to opposition parties who had chosen to run away from the fray. “The huge victory margin besides being a referendum on the policies and working of theSAD- BJP government, will also teach a lesson to both the Congress and AAP which has disrespected the electorate by boycotting the by poll”, he added.

He said soon there would be a further influx of funds in the rural areas with Rs 4,000 crore being earmarked for upgrading streets and drains in the State.

Mr Badal said similarly the maximum recruitment in government jobs had occurred during SAD- BJP rule. He announced that once voted back to power the SAD- BJP government would build concrete streets and drains in all 12,000 villages in the State. French Minister Segolene Royal inaugurates solar park in Delhi

French Minister for Sustainable Development and Energy Segolene Royal and Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia have inaugurated a 21 MW solar park, which is set up in Punjab.

The solar park has been set-up by a French Solar company, Solairedirect, and is spread across 40 hectares in the Fazilka town on Punjab.

According to reports, the park will generate 39 Gigawatt Hours per annum. Royal, who is in India for the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit said that the park was an example of fine engineering.

“This wonderful example of Indo- French engineering coming together in this project, I think, is one of the key elements of success in this project,” said Royal.

The rapidly falling cost of solar power, which is expected to reach parity with conventional energy by 2017, has ignited interest in its potential in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has looked to industry for help in funding what could be a USD 100 billion expansion in clean energy.

Meanwhile, Royal said that the project was a ‘win-win partnership’.

“It is also a project that shows sharing. It is a win-win partnership that has taken place and this double economic model is very original,” she said.

India has committed to a huge expansion in renewable energy and improving the energy efficiency of its rapidly growing economy, while at the same time increasing its burning of coal to meet the bulk of its growing energy needs.
