SAD-BJP government is continuing its pro-people approach has extended the free health treatment benefit under its unique Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna to the hard working community of farmers, small traders having less than Rs. One crore turn over and registered construction workers.

Government is fully committed to the welfare of the farming community instrumental in contributing about 30-35% of food grains procured for the Central Pool. It is lead to development organization in the nation to feeds millions of hungry people. Free health treatment-cum- insurance scheme under the name of “Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojana” has been introduced for providing health insurance cover of Rs. 50000/- per annum per family plus Rs. 5 lacs cover for accidental death and complete disability for Head of the family of 28.90 lakh blue card holders families, 11 lac “J Form” holder farming families, 2.33 lakh small traders and 2.32 lakh construction workers. This scheme would give a big relief to the people of unprivileged sections by providing them the quality health care services that too free of cost.

Beneficiaries would be issued the smart cards which would enable them to avail the benefit of cashless health care facilities up to Rs 50,000 per annum in 214 government and 216 empanelled private hospitals in the state. This is the help designed for the public awareness. It can potentially save lives. It can contribute to your happiness. It is conducted to check their well being. They have the potential to completely transform rural life.

Granted money for the development works of villages – Bikram Singh Majithia

Mr. Majithia was addressing a gathering after distributing grant Rs. 1.25 crore for the development works to be initiated in village Chogwan. Mr. Majithia gave village Tahli Sahib Rs. 56 lac, Chativind Lehar Rs. 55 lac, Khidovali Rs.45 lac, Mukadapura Rs 10 lac and Tarfal Rs 12 lac for the initiating dozens of development projects. Punjab deserves a special economic package as demanded by Mr. Majithia. Government is contributing a lot to accelerate developmental works in villages.Government assures that funds would never be an issue when it comes to development of Punjab. Inclusive developments in Punjab and people friendly policies have strengthened the faith of people in State Government. Its main objective is to improve the quality of life of rural people It would give a further fillip to Punjab’s development.

Coming to the point, Kejriwal should apologize to the Sikh community for forcefully demolishing the piau which served as a drinking water area for thousands of people coming to the Gurudwara. AAP government was rebuked widely in social media for playing politics over religion and hurting Sikh sentiment.  Kejriwal has become a threat to the unity and communal harmony. It is quite possible that AAP had no idea of how governance was done. It is easy to criticize others but accomplishing something against all odds is the actual test. It is a matter of regret that AAP was emulating anti sikh precedent. He said that the Congress Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi was never forgiven by the sikh community for causing damage to the holy Akal Thakt and the fate of her party in Punjab is pathetic. Punajb seeks centre’s intervention to set up Mini Hydros on Bhakra Main Line – Bikram Singh Majithia

Water can be harnessed on a large or a small scale. Mini hydro is the development of hydro electric power on a scale serving a small community or industrial plant. Hydro-electricity systems convert the energy of moving water into electricity. Micro hydro electric projects have the potential to minimize use of environmentally harmful energy sources. It will reduce average installed power and which require smaller facilities. Hydro power energy is widely used throughout the world. This is bringing electricity and prospects for a better future to remote communities.

It results in providing green energy solutions to the people who help the environment, and eliminate the CO2 foot print. Punjab government has made strong case to allow setting mini hydros on bhakhra line which will harness green power for the country. The interstate should not come in the way of having power from renewable sources especially when country is facing the scarcity of green power. Punjab is falling prey to countrywide trend of over dependence on private power generation units.

Punjab government gives first priority to pro-people decisions. It always stands for the equality of people. The government has recently completely done away with the registration fee for the transfer of assets between blood relations with the help of this thousands of people of Punjab have got relief to the tune of Rs 175 crore in the first three months of this exemption, government also have laid the foundation stone of development works at several villages to fulfill the people needs.

Punjab government started a help line (dial 168 or 1800-1800-168) for bringing transparency and efficiency and to provide information about land records just in a phone call. He said that this has already started yielding positive results. All the people issues related to land will be dealt in a time-bound manner. Punjab government has also launched e-Stamping system to end exploitation of the people for which the complete land record is now online and is also available on the department’s website.

The copy of the land record is provided to the owner in less than 15 minutes. Government promises people to work towards a Progressive Punjab. It calls upon YAD and SOI to work for respective zones for utilizing the energy of youth in a positive way. People feel proud for the government work positively in a way to work for Punjabis!! Developing Farming And Education For Poor Sector – Bikram Singh Majithia

Agriculture is the largest industry in Punjab. The region is ideal for growing wheat crop.most of the people of Punjab are occupied in agriculture sector. So, Moving out the farming community from crisis, the Punjab Government would provide interest free crop loan of Rs. 50 thousand on each crop to give an easy hand to farmers for crop production. The loan would be available for twice in a year as per the crop pattern in the state.It includes the easy return of loan in installments after the procurement of crops as per the season.

The Punjab Government has also decided to provide interest free loan to students upto Rs. 5 lakh which would be repaid by them in installments after completing their education. This scheme for farmers and students would be implemented in a month.it is beneficial for the students who stop their higher studies due to lack of money and higher fee structure. It would facilitate the students especially from rural areas besides facilitating the parents for higher studies of their ward sand help the students belonging to economically weaker sections of society.

The people should come forward to avail the benefits from Punjab Governments through pro people schemes. The government is focusing on making farmers debt-free. Government of Punjab offered interest-free education loans for those from economically weaker sections, skill development and vocational training schemes, free stationery for girl students in schools and health care kits for girls in classes 6th to 12th.  The government had come up with multiple schemes, including insurance cover, interest-free crop loan and a provident fund-cum-pension policy, for farmers. In this way Punjab Government is helping the poor section of society and providing a better life for them.

In the present scheme of Panchayati Raj, the villagers have been held responsible for all-round improvement in the village life, including education, sanitation, medical relief, lighting, housing, maternity and child welfare.

The main objective behind the Panchayati Raj is that the people in the village should undertake the responsibilities of governing themselves. People in the villages should actively participate in the development activities regarding agriculture, irrigation, animal husbandry, public health, education, etc. Panchayats can best carry out the uplift programmes, such as mending roads, terrace, and embank the fields, building bunds, digging drains, provide fresh drinking water, etc.

Panchayat is a kind of local self-Government. The Panchayat is to look after the village and its welfare. It works out the Government welfare schemes. The villagers can vote out the Panchayat office-bearers if they do not work satisfactorily. But the villagers should co-operate with the Panchayat in working out all their welfare programmes. The panchayat representatives must adopt a neutral role and ensure that these welfare schemes which the state government has started for the benefit of minority community.

The Social welfare department implements various schemes for the encouragement of education among the students of  SC,  The separate books bank are maintained in the Medical,Eng, and other colleges for the benefit of the SC students.  Free supply of seeds, fertilizers and chemicals, Diesel engine oil engine, construction of surface water storage tanks or water lifting devices, providing sub-miscible pump sets, supply of power-tiller. mr majithia distributed welfare grants to many villages.

Punjab in the terms of Development

A benefit, usually money, paid regularly to retired employees or their survivors by private businesses and federal, state, and local governments. Pension is the benefit plan” where a fixed sum is paid regularly to a person. Bikram singh majithia distributes the pension to old people. He also promised that sarpanches in villages would distribute pensions to beneficiaries and the amount would be credited directly in panchayat accounts.

It will help to those who look after their children, beneficial to widows and handicapped persons. Pensions are given to enjoy the benefits of your years of hard work. Punjab government is doing a lot for the people. He Seeks the blessing of elders by taking such initiative step for the peace and harmony of Punjab. “Punjab is the only state in the country that will distribute Rs 86.25 crore to more than 17 lakh beneficiaries in a single day every month.” It also have created so many advantages for the Punjab and its people. It has been estimated that the poor have raised above the poverty line.

Benefits of economic growth have trickle down to the poor in the form of more employment opportunities, greater productivity and higher wages. Punjab Government has raised the capital to generate more employment opportunities and increase productivity of labour. Agriculture growth has reduced the poverty line as well. The development of infrastructure has also speed up. Special employment schemes for the poor have been provided. Generate wage employment for the rural poor by the government. It has made useful contribution to poverty reduction in the rural areas.

Rahul’s return will not sail through Congress party’s sinking ship: Bikram Singh Majithia

While Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was belting out against Modi government on its land acquisition bill while speaking at Kissan Rally in Delhi on Sunday after 57 days sabbatical , almost at the same time in Majitha, Punjab, cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia was rumbling and grumbling against Rahul for allegedly misleading the gullible farmers while declaring him a ‘failed’ leader.

While talking to TOI , Majithia said “Bringing ‘missing’ Rahul back to political stage will not help to sail through the Congress party’s sinking ship”. He said Rahul was the face of Congress party during 2014 Lok Sabha elections and everybody knows where he led the Congress. “The simple message is that people of this country has rejected Congress as well as its icon Rahul Gandhi” he said.

Majithia was here on visit to various villages to inspect the ongoing development work and distribute development grants for the villages of Niberpur, Sadhpur and Jhamka.
Not leaving a chance to quip on the internal wrangling in Punjab Congress he said “You can yourself see the brickbating between Amarinder and Bajwa, the Congress is fatally ill in Punjab and taking last breathes in ICU, no doctor can save it” he said adding that it was just the Congress minions who were trying to befool people on the name of unity in state Congress unit.

ਮਾਈ ਭਾਗੋ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪਡ਼ਨ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਲਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਕੱਥੂਨੰਗਲ, ਚਵੰਡੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਟਾਹਲੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ 395 ਸਾਈਕਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਕੀਤੀ। ਲਡ਼ਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬਣਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਣ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲਡ਼ਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਥਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

To facilitate the daily commute of the girl students pursuing education in nearby villages, we distributed 395 cycles in the three schools of Kathunangal, Chawinda Devi and Tahli Sahib, under state’s Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme. I am honoured to be a part of this initiative to empower girls. By empowering these girls, we can lay the foundation of a stable and healthy society.
