Mr. Majithia was addressing a gathering after distributing grant Rs. 1.25 crore for the development works to be initiated in village Chogwan. Mr. Majithia gave village Tahli Sahib Rs. 56 lac, Chativind Lehar Rs. 55 lac, Khidovali Rs.45 lac, Mukadapura Rs 10 lac and Tarfal Rs 12 lac for the initiating dozens of development projects. Punjab deserves a special economic package as demanded by Mr. Majithia. Government is contributing a lot to accelerate developmental works in villages.Government assures that funds would never be an issue when it comes to development of Punjab. Inclusive developments in Punjab and people friendly policies have strengthened the faith of people in State Government. Its main objective is to improve the quality of life of rural people It would give a further fillip to Punjab’s development.
Coming to the point, Kejriwal should apologize to the Sikh community for forcefully demolishing the piau which served as a drinking water area for thousands of people coming to the Gurudwara. AAP government was rebuked widely in social media for playing politics over religion and hurting Sikh sentiment. Kejriwal has become a threat to the unity and communal harmony. It is quite possible that AAP had no idea of how governance was done. It is easy to criticize others but accomplishing something against all odds is the actual test. It is a matter of regret that AAP was emulating anti sikh precedent. He said that the Congress Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi was never forgiven by the sikh community for causing damage to the holy Akal Thakt and the fate of her party in Punjab is pathetic. People are well aware of the political connotations of the demolition.
