Punjab Government has raised the capital to generate more employment opportunities and increase productivity of labour. Agriculture growth has reduced the poverty line as well. The development of infrastructure has also speed up. Special employment schemes for the poor have been provided. Generate wage employment for the rural poor by the government. It has made useful contribution to poverty reduction in the rural areas.
