ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੱਥੂਨੰਗਲ-ਚਵਿੰਡਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਸੜਕ ‘ਤੇ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਲਾਈਟਾਂ ਲਈ 20 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਦੇ 7.5 ਕਿਲੋਵਾਟ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਸੁ-ਕੈਮ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ 172 ਗੁਣਾ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ 70 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ 12,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਰਜੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ 9 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਤੋਂ 1550 ਮੈਗਾਵਾਟ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ 10,000 ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ।

I am elated to share that I have inaugurated the 7.5 kilowatt capacity Solar Energy Power Plant for Street Lights on Kathunanagal-Chawinda Devi Road in Amritsar. The project has been made operational by Su-Kam Company. In Punjab the green power generation has gone up by 172 times up from 9 MW to 1550 MW during the last three years with investment going up from Rs. 70 crore to Rs. 12,000 crore and employment avenues for 10,000 youth
